Kling AI Launches Kling 4.0 with 30-Second Native Video Generation

Kling AI has launched Kling 4.0, its latest video generation model, with native support for up to 30-second clips in a single pass and expanded creative control tools.

The model, announced by parent company Kuaishou Technology, focuses on three areas: more stable dynamic motion and complex camera movements, native long-form generation for continuous storytelling, and multimodal reference support. Creators can now use up to 15 reference assets and up to 10 keyframe inputs in a single generation, combining images, video clips and subjects to guide characters, scene transitions and narrative progression.

Kling 4.0 also improves visual quality with support for higher resolution output and plans for 10-bit HDR at both 4K and 1080p, along with a 21:9 ultrawide format. Prompt length has been extended to allow more detailed creative direction. The company says the model is designed for professional use cases in advertising, film, television and gaming.

Kling AI reports more than 100 million users globally and more than 50,000 enterprise customers. The full Kling 4.0 model is available on the Kling AI platform, with API access for enterprise customers and developers expected soon. A lighter Kling 4.0 Flash variant had previously been available to select subscribers.

The launch continues the rapid improvement in AI video tools, where longer continuous generation, better motion consistency and finer creative control are becoming standard expectations for professional workflows.
