Netflix Secures Exclusive FIFA World Cup 2030 Rights in Spain and Andorra

Netflix has secured the exclusive rights in Spain and Andorra to the FIFA World Cup 2030, covering all 104 matches of the tournament’s 100th anniversary edition.

The deal includes full live coverage with pre-game, halftime and post-game shows from a Spanish perspective, a daily round-up on match days, and additional programming in the lead-up. One match per matchday will be available free in Spain, while a package including every Spain match, both semi-finals and the final will also air on a national free-to-air broadcaster.

Bela Bajaria, Chief Content Officer, Netflix, said: “Few events unite people like the World Cup. … With Spain set to host in 2030, we’re thrilled to bring every match to fans across Spain and Andorra on Netflix.”

The agreement expands Netflix’s existing relationship with FIFA, which already includes rights to the FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2027 and 2031 for the US and Canada.
