Netflix and SEGA have announced a film adaptation of the video game Crazy Taxi as part of a broader multi-title collaboration.
The announcement positions the project within Netflix’s ongoing strategy of adapting games and other IP into film and series. Details on release timing and creative team were not specified in the initial release, but the partnership signals continued investment in game-based entertainment alongside original productions.
The collaboration is one of several recent moves by Netflix to expand its slate through established gaming properties.
